Wild Growth uses a mixture of oils — coconut, olive, jojoba, pumpkin seed and others — along with additional natural ingredients to help promote thicker, longer hair. Coconut oil helps moisturize hair and repair split ends (same with jojoba oil), so that new growth remains hydrated and healthy; some evidence also suggests that using olive oil on the hair helps stimulate growth by, among other things, strengthening hair follicles. And pumpkin seed oil isn’t only for fall recipes: In one study, the ingredient appeared to promote hair growth in participants.
Worth noting: There’s not a ton of comprehensive research to support all of these claims (and some derms are uncertain whether these ingredients work at all), but thousands of Amazon shoppers attest that the oil worked for them, and not just for growth.
